Collecting Nostalgia: Baby Boomers Awesome Finds!

There are endless fun things to collect from our youth that will satisfy just about any sentimentality. Pick your focus and there is a world of possibilities on Ebay, antique shops, secondhand stores, and even Craig's List. Here's just some ideas for a foray back in time to our groovy youth -

Pet rocks
mood rings
fluorescent velvet posters
concert ticket stubs
Star Wars
3D glasses and movies

comic books
symbols - smiley face, keep on truckin', peace sign, mushroom, etc.
transister am radios
8 tracks
VHS tapes

wacky packages, aka wacky packys
Coca Cola
Roy Rogers/Gene Autry
1950s SciFi posters
Mad Magazine

board games
Toys - Stretch Armstrong, Rock Em Sock Em Robots, Slinky, Magic Eight Ball, Easy Bake Oven, Barbies, Hot Wheels, silly putty, etc.
1950s Betty Crocker cookbooks

I like to collect 1970s made-for-tv horror movies, vintage Halloween decorations, and some of the fashions.
