What is it we love so much about sweaters? Is it that they signify the cooling down of the hot summer? The sensual delight of yarn against skin? The covering up and winterizing of the flesh?
I suspect it's partly because it provides warmth and partly the snuggle factor that is sentimentally associated with the cold seasons.
