Butter and Cream Cheese: Making Amazing Spreads

If you have a stick of butter and a stick of cream cheese, you're able to make more than you think!

Melt the butter and add ingredients in to make flavored butters to use when cooking scrambled eggs, atop chicken or fish, spread on toasted bread, on sandwiches. Once you've mixed this up, put it in a form (anything from a small tupperware container to a little jar or even a butter mold)

Mix the cream cheese with ingredients to make amazing sandwich spreads you can use open-faced, for tea sandwiches, in your lunches....

Here's some great combos:

Butter with a touch of olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest.

Butter with cinnamon and sugar.

Butter with thyme, marjaram, and rosemary.

Butter with a touch of olive oil, diced green olives, sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan, basil.

For cream cheese you can make a sandwich spread or consider making quesadillas with these spreads. You can mix the diced items with a mixer or in a food processor if you want it finer.

Cream cheese with cooked chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, diced onion.

Cream cheese with tomato sauce, pepperoni, bell pepper, and parmesan.

Cream cheese with taco meat (seasoned), cheddar, diced tomatoes.

Cream cheese with tuna, onion, celery, and pickles.

Give these a try - with these in your fridge, you can make things almost instantly all week!
