Chakras: In Balance and Out of Balance

Some folks follows astrology and it offers many helpful insights, but knowing chakras can gain a greater depth of understanding.

Let's discuss the chakras and you will come to find ones you are strong in and ones you are weak in.

This is gaining a new insight into your internal synchronicity.

I have discovered my dominant chakras are definitely throat and third eye. My most problematic are root and solar plexus.

CROWN CHAKRA

The seventh chakra at the top of your head. Most often related to the color white, sometimes purple.

So how do you feel when the Crown Chakra is strong? The energy around it feels very clean and clear, like mountain air. You might feel a deep sense of trust that you are connected, and that the universe is looking after you. You might feel a benign detachment, as though you can rise above your earthly problems.

The blockage in the Crown emotionally manifests in the form of a lack of purpose, feeling disconnected from oneself and the world, confusion, distraction, lack of focus, feelings of isolation, depression, or existential crises, inability to let go of certain attachments or limiting beliefs, and emotional blockage.

THIRD EYE CHAKRA
The color is indigo. This is the sixth chakra. It is closely associated with intuitive and psychic insight.

With an open third eye chakra, a person's imagination is very strong and detailed. They know what they want out of life and follow their strong intuition/gut feelings. When the sixth chakra is balanced and can experience a strong perception of surroundings.

If the third eye chakra is closed off this means that a person can be closed off in their imagination and their intuition. These people can be insensitive, have a poor memory, and experience difficulty visualizing/seeing the future.

THROAT CHAKRA
The color is blue. It is the fifth chakra.

In balance it is responsible for expressing ideas clearly, gracefully and honestly, and projecting one's authentic creativity into the world. Mental Body: When Vishuddha is in balance you can communicate clearly and ask for what you need, in order to manifest the world in which you wish to live.

When your throat chakra is blocked or misaligned, you may have issues with creativity and communication. Throat chakra problems can also lead to physical symptoms like thyroid imbalance, sore throat, and hearing difficulties. It's believed that chakra stones can rebalance this chakra.

HEART CHAKRA
The color is green.  It is the fourth chakra.

In balance, it serves as our center of love for oneself and others, compassion, empathy and forgiveness. The anahata chakra is associated with unconditional love, compassion, and joy. It is the source of deep and profound truths that cannot be expressed in words.

When it becomes blocked, it can lead to feelings of loneliness, isolation, and disconnection from others.

SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
Located at the navel, its color is yellow and it is the third chakra.

When this energy center is open and balanced, you feel confident, powerful, and ready to take on any challenge that comes your way. Other signs of a Solar Plexus Chakra opening include: A strong sense of self-confidence and self-worth. A clear sense of personal identity and purpose.

A blocked solar plexus chakra often leads to emotional problems, ranging from feeling powerless to self-doubting. You may also have difficulty setting boundaries, making decisions, and listening to your gut intuition.

SACRAL CHAKRA
The color is orange and it is the second chakra and is located in the lower belly and pelvis.

In balance, this is associated with sensuality and creativity. The primary function of this energy center is pleasure and overall enjoyment of life. When this chakra is balanced and functioning properly, we can expect our relationship with ourselves and the world to feel harmonious, pleasureful, and nurturing.

A closed sacral chakra can make you feel detached from your own emotions as well as the emotions of the people around you,” says Konst. “You may feel isolated and anxious to be alone and lonely. It's a vicious cycle that can cause loneliness as well as anxiety.

ROOT CHAKRA
The color is red and this is the first chakra.  IIt is located at the base of the spine.

A balanced Root Chakra can provide emotional strength in the face of fear and anxiety. This results in feeling grounded and secure.

An imbalance can cause a variety of mental illnesses and stress which can also affect overall physical wellness.
