Women of the 1970s

Women of the 70s, the stuff male dreams were made of! Let's take a walk down memory lane -

Billie Jean King

Charlie's Angels

Pam Grier

Lynda Carter

Mary Tyler Moore

Bo Derek

Shirley Chisholm

Linda Blair

Carly Simon

Diana Ross

Charo

Rosalynn Carter

Gloria Steinem

June Carter

Hanoi, ahem, I mean Jane Fonda

What did women do for the 70s? They set styles and they dared to have their own lives. Here's some things that women made happen in the 70s -
Equal Rights Amendment
Roe V Wade
Tennis win over a male (Billie Jean King)
Women made 57 cents on a dollar compared to men's wages and by the end of the 70s made 62 cents on the dollar (by 2024 it was 84 cents on the dollar)
Shirley Chisolm ran for president

The good, the bad, and the ugly. Some of the women became idols, others envied, some of them despised, but women weren't leaving the 1970s without stamping an impression on the general public.
