Feeling nostalgic for AM radio, Top 40 songs, Billboard charts? 45 records? Let's pick some years and see what the top 100 songs were in 1958, 1968, 1978 and 1988.
I wanted to cover adolescence for those born in the beginning of baby boomers' generation in the mid 40s and also have the songs of their early adulthood. That being said, those of us born in the early 60s, or adolescence was in the 70s but our young adulthood was in the 80s. For that reason - here's the top 100s for 1958, 1968, 1978, and 1988!
